Kitchen update

Some more photos of the house and remodelled kitchen:-

This is another pic of the front of Wild Rose House. It's quite difficult to get a shot of the entire house because most of it is hidden by foliage

At the moment, we use the side door to enter and exit the house. This is the view of the front of the house, from near the garages. Ultimately, we would like to make a clear accessway from the bottom of the garden and make this the main entrance.

The kitchen entrance after the pantry/fridge swap. Please note Andrew's light switch beside the kitchen entrance. It still works, which is a bonus.

Since the kitchen opens directly onto the living room, I wanted to paint it bright white to reflect as much light as possible. Even Andrew admits it's a vast improvement - although I'm still convinced it emits a green glow when my defences are low. Andrew says I'm paranoid

Wow, that seriously looks great. I’m rather impressed that it took so little time. I’m so loving the front the house and wish I was visiting soon.

The front of the house is quite beautiful. We couldn’t understand why the RE Agent’s listing for it led with a photo of the back of the house, from the road. I mean, it’s not as if the back is ugly but it’s a converted attic bedroom with a fairly slapdash deck built on. It certainly didn’t highlight the appeal of the house.

It’s actually quite wonderful at the moment with the roses coming into bloom, even though checking the weeds takes up a lot of time.
